Write-ups are one of the more interesting things a HERO player can find on the net. Write-ups are in fact a way of simulating characters from various books/comics/movies/whatever by using HERO System rules.
The wide range of characters that can be found on the net only goes to prove how versatile HERO System can be, and how it can be used to simulate anything, and I mean anything
Here is my humble attempt at writing-up a few characters:
- Encoh Wallace, from the Clifford D. Simak’s Way Station
- Painkiller Jane, from her namesake comic book
- Eric Draven, from James O’Barr’s The Crow
- Violet Song jat Shariff, from the movie Ultraviolet
Can’t find what you’re looking for? Try out one of these excellent collections of write-ups:
- Surbrook’s Stuff
A large collection of write-ups by Michael Surbrook. Contains lots of anime, manga and other off-mainstream characters. - The Great Net Book of Real Heroes
A huge (over 600 characters) collection of characters, mostly from Marvel and DC comics, but not only. - The 250 Point Project
A different look at write-ups. A collection of characters written-up as closely as possible to the standard HERO 250 points.
Still can’t find what you’re looking for? Try asking me to write it up. I’m not promising anything, but you can always ask…
