Background:
Jason was a spoiled brat, the son of a wealthy importer/exporter and his considerably younger wife. Being his father’s only son he was brought up to inherit his empire, but Jason preferred to follow in the footsteps of his mother and devoted most of his time to perfecting his own body in endless hours of karate training and his social skills in endless cocktail parties and fund-raisers.
That is, until he met Jennifer in one of those parties. They talked a bit, they laughed a bit, he bought her a drink and he was instantly hers. Body, mind and soul. For the next two months he followed her like a devoted lap dog, completely engulfed by the first true emotion he had ever felt. Life was beautiful and he has enjoying every minute of it, until that fatal night at that cocktail party.
He went off to bring them drinks, and came back to find her giggling with another man. He frowned, but ignored the incident. But that man kept showing up around Jennifer during the entire evening, and when they prepared to leave together Jason cracked. He and the other man exchanged insults, and then shoves, and then fists. Well, “exchange” isn’t exactly the right word. The other man swung a punch at him which he ducked, and when he retaliated with a fist of his own, electric sparks covered his body, delivering a lethal charge with his fist. The man was dead before he even hit the ground.
As his rage subsided, he turned around to look at Jennifer, the understanding of what she was and what she had made him do creeping into his mind. But also the understanding that he loved her, and deep done in her heart, she also loved him. Or at least that is what he wanted to believe.
They escaped together, never to be seen in the same social circles again. After a while on the cold streets of New-York they came to realize that simply staying alive was not enough, that they needed something more in their lives. Wanted for murder and a known mutant, he could never show his face in the uptown society again, but after his father’s death he met up with his mother again and received his inheritance. He used these funds to re-establish The X-Men, and X-Quisite on his side set off to bring some good to the world.

Personality:
Jason was brought up to believe that he was better than most people, and that he should show it. He is slowly growing out of this belief, but he still keeps his flamboyant and showy demeanor. He doesn’t like to win arguments (or fights, for that matter) – he likes to humiliate the opponents. He’ll never pass up on an opportunity to show off his assets, be it wealth, beauty or superior mutant powers and fighting technique.
His biggest driving power is his love to X-Quisite. Lately, she seems to have developed some feelings for X-Cel, which troubles Jason quite a lot.

Appearance:
Jason is a young and handsome man who looks like he knows he has it made. He is relatively tall (1.82m) and well built (80 kg). He cuts his blonde hair in a short, fashionable style and his blue eyes usually hide behind a pair of expensive sunglasses. He dresses in elegant cloths – not overtly over-priced, but definitely enough to show that he doesn’t concern himself with looking at the price tag before buying a garment.
As X-Travaganza he wears a black and blue body suit made out of a conducting material. He covers his all too recognizable face with a mask and his hands with gloves of the same material. Like all other Unlikely X-Men, he has a bright red “X” across his chest. He carries a collapsible metal staff and rolled up metal whip in special holsters on his belt.

Powers/Tactics:
X-Travaganza’s nervous system is overly developed, which grants him some amazing powers beyond the reach of mere humans. First of all, his nervous system transfers messages much faster than the normal human’s which makes him extremely fast.
Second, he has learnt to control the electric impulses passing through his body and he can electrocute his skin to deliver an electric shock to those he hits or those who try to grab him, create a bright electric flash to blind opponent or even throw a small lighting bolt at an opponent and fry him where he stands.
As noted, X-Travaganza is a master of Karate, and a devoted show-off. He will usually enter hand-to-hand combat in order to humiliate his opponents and to show off some remarkable yet relatively ineffective maneuvers. His skill coupled with his close combat powers make him an awesome combatant, but he would be even more dangerous if he listened to X-Cel‘s strategy teachings and use his ranged electric charges and flashes before entering close range combat.
X-Travaganza usually carries two weapons – a metallic staff he uses not only as a Bo he had trained with but also as an electricity conduit and a metallic whip he uses mainly to get his electric charges around corners and shields. When he earns more experience he would probably learn to use the whip more effectively and creatively, buying it as some form of limited Telekinesis.
